Together, we will walk through the ancient city, visiting awe-inspiring sites, engaging in spiritual lessons, and creating lifelong connections with like-minded individuals. Our program offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Islamic traditions and knowledge, all while experiencing the vibrant colors, scents, and sounds of this unforgettable city.

Itinerary
We have carefully crafted a day-to-day itinerary that balances spiritual growth, cultural experiences, and rejuvenation.
Day 1 (Fes): Welcome session introducing Fes and its spiritual legacy, focusing on Moulay Idris II as the founder of Fes. Visit Moulay Idris II’s shrine, followed by dinner and reflection at the hotel. Ending the evening with dinner and prayer on the terrace.
Day 2 (Fes): Visits to Sidi Ali Jamal, Zaouia Tijaniyah, Al-Qarawiyyin Library & Mosque. Exploring Fatima al-Fihri’s legacy. Evening dhikr at Zaouia Wazzaniyah.
Day 3 (Fes): Jumu’ah at Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, reflections on Fes’s intellectual heritage. Afternoon workshop on local cuisine. Evening dhikr with Shaykh Idris at Zawiya Idris al-Fassi.
Day 4 (Fes): Visits to Bou Inania Madrasa, Zaouia Sidi Ahmed al-Tijani, and Seffarine Square. Workshop at the tannery, with local artisans.
Day 5 (Meknes): Visit Meknes, Moulay Idris Zerhoun, and Volubilis. Lunch hosted by Shaykh Moulay Abdelkabir Belgheti, followed by visits to his grave and Zawiya Shaykh Muhammad ibn al-Habib.
Day 6 (Fes): Shopping in the Medina, return to spots you want to revisit. Evening reflections and farewell dinner.
Day 7 (Fes): Closing reflections, breakfast, and departure.

The cost includes all programming, transportation, lodging, daily breakfast, some meals and excursions. Airfare not included but contact us if you need any help booking your ticket.

Yes, we have a payment schedule for the remaining balance after the initial deposit.

Yes, if you know other individuals traveling with us you can request to be roomed with a specific individual, and we’ll do our best to be able to accommodate the request.

You are responsible for purchasing your own plane ticket. We recommend flying into Rabat (closest major airport to Fes) or Casablanca.

We welcome anyone ages 16+ and unfortunately are not able to accommodate younger children.

Yes, it is islamically permissible according to many scholars to travel without a mehram if it is safe and you're traveling with a group.

If you cancel your plans before January 31st, you will receive a full refund on your deposit, and any other payments made. However, the $500 deposit will be retained on any cancellations after January 31st, all other payments will be refunded.
If you register for the trip between January 31st and February 28th, you have 14 days from registration to cancel and receive a refund on your deposit and any other payments made. The $500 registration deposits made on or after March 1st are non-refundable, as this period falls within the final preparation window for the trip.

During the retreat in early April, you can expect mild and pleasant spring weather with average temperatures between the mid-60s to 70s (18-23°C). Expect a good amount of sunshine, though there may be occasional clouds or brief showers. Evenings will be cooler, so it would be wise to pack layers.

For Canadian, U.S., and UK citizens, visas are granted upon arrival in Morocco for stays up to 90 days. For other nationalities, please consult the Moroccan consulate or embassy in your country for visa requirements and application procedures.

Please coordinate your transportation with the organizers or arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service.

There will be opportunities for personal interactions with the scholars throughout the retreat, although individual time cannot be guaranteed.
